The Glennie School is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Boarding Supervisors to join our vibrant boarding community from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for people who enjoy working with young people and who are passionate about creating engaging and supportive experiences that help girls thrive beyond the classroom.
About the Role
As a Boarding Supervisor, you will play an active role in shaping the daily life of our boarding house by helping to deliver a varied and purposeful Boarding Enrichment Program. This includes:
Planning and leading afternoon and weekend activities that build confidence, teamwork, and wellbeing
Accompanying students on excursions and recreational outings
Offering guidance and assistance during study sessions and supporting girls with homework and organisation
Providing encouragement and care as students navigate the challenges and rewards of living away from home
You will work closely with the boarding leadership team to help create a warm, structured, and nurturing environment where every girl feels a sense of belonging. The role involves a combination of morning, evening, and sleepover shifts as part of a roster that ensures consistency of care and connection with our boarders.

Confident leading group activities and encouraging participation
Empathetic and approachable, with a genuine interest in student wellbeing
Organised and dependable, with good time management and communication skills
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Supportive of the Anglican ethos and values of The Glennie School
Experience working with adolescents is an advantage but not essential.
